Hull Blackings
Hull blackings are available on our fully covered slipway.
£15.50+VAT per ft (minimum charge £50 ft) which includes the following:
Hauling the boat in and out of the water
Scrapping off algae and loose paint
Pressure washing to remove rust and remaining algae,
Rotary wire brushing using a grinder to remove any remaining rust and to give a key for the new bitumen to adhere to.
2 brushed coats of high quality bitumen.

Bespoke Narrowboat Painting
With over 15 years experience the resident painter can transform your boat inside a fully sealed and heated workshop.
All surfaces are taken back to bare steel.
International Toplac is the standard paint used but others can also be used if you wish.
All fixtures and fittings are removed during the prep stage and then re-fitted using foam tape seals and silicone once all paintwork is finished. Self employed
